A table top booth is easier to carry for travel purposes. It is light weight and does not take a lot of space. It is a ‘table top booth' because it is set on top of a 6 ft. table. It is not completely enclosed, but it is an excellent choice if there are space restrictions in the room where the meeting is being held. It is also a more cost-effective way of utilizing simultaneous interpretation equipment  for a successful conference.

Isolation Booths Interpreter: Isolation Booths are designed to provide separation between Interpreters and conference proceedings.  Isolation booths are also needed to provide interpreters with a quiet and separate enclosure to be able to focus on their interpretation and to have a space to have their dictionaries and material.  They are also used to set up all equipment, i.e. interpreter control unit, microphones, and headsets.
