City Public Service/IBEW FCU started operating as a federal credit union on June 1, 1998. It is the result of merging two federal credit unions together for creating a single, stronger, and more viable credit union capable of competing effectively in today's highly competitive financial services industry.

Chartered in 1939 to cover the employees of the Southern Pacific S. A. Division Railroad, we remained a single sponsor credit union until 1986 when we expanded our field of membership to the local community.
