Ms. Shari Claudette Fortino has over thirty seven years of expertise in dance performance, instruction and choreography. Among her many achievements, maybe the most significant has been carrying the torch left by her father, John Soiu, as she furthers his legacy of both the Debonaire School of Ballroom

Our new studio opened in August 2006, in the Downtown Art District of Bakersfield, CA. We provide classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Combo, Acro, Musical Theater. Classes are available for all skill levels and age groups. We aim to make The Dance Stop a fun place for everyone, and believe
