Homas received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology at the Hampden-Sydney College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at UNC Chapel Hill. He has many professional affiliations including the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, LD Pankey Alumni Association, and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

Dr. Cherry is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. After graduation, he completed and Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. He is an active member of the S Charlotte Study Club which enables him to stay current on several of the latest advances in dentistry.
