In 1955 Mr. And Mrs. George Glass built an 18 room motel named Glass Motel. In 1957 they sold the establishment to my grandparents Leo and Helen Szymanowicz. They built 12 more rooms and added an enclosed lobby. My parents Joseph and Fran Szymanwicz then purchased the motel in 1970 and ran it until 1987.
