The Bishop Verot Varsity and JV cheer teams traveled to Rollins College in Winter Park to attend UCA Cheer Camp the week of July twentieth. During the Camp Championships, Varsity won 1st place for their home routine dance, 1st place for extreme routine and 2nd place for staff cheer. They were given a superior trophy for getting the best rating on all their routines throughout the week. Bishop Verot's varsity squad won the staff traditions award for displaying leadership on and off the field. Melissa King and Ashley Wilkinson were chosen as All-Americans and were invited to cheer in London.
