The story of Oz before Dorothy dropped in, Wicked is a complex and entertaining tale of the two witches, Glinda and Elphaba, in the land of Oz. The story, adapted for the Gregory Maguire novel supplies a retelling of the Classic Wizard of Oz tale, but from the point of view of the witches. Still playing to sell-out audiences, this enjoyable show is a must for anyone visiting the Broadway New York Theatre district.
