Abiding Love Lutheran Church

Abiding Love sponsors a nationally recognized ministry to seniors at some different senior care facilities throughout Lee County. A committed staff of lay people visit seniors weekly, providing friendship, encouragement, and inspiration from God's word. An informal worship service is provided at one local care center. If you would be interested in helping in this important ministry to the members of our community who are so often forgotten, please contact the church.

read moreI grew up in Saginaw, Michigan. When I decided to study for the ministry I headed off to Northwestern College to get my BA. Afterwards I attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary to receive my Masters of Divinity in 1999. I met my future wife, Amy, in high school. After dating on and off through college, we were married while I was at the Seminary. God has blessed us with four children. Dan and Josh are presently in college. Ben is in high school. Amy homeschools our youngest, Abby, just as she did our other children.

read moreWe encourage kids and their parents to grow in faith together as they hear God's word and sing his praise. Abiding Love is a family of believers built on the rock solid foundation of God's word. Worship and God's word are central to our faith and life. Come each Sunday morning at 8:00am and 10:30am for an uplifting and relevant message focused on what God's word means in our lives. Music and the arts serve to focus our attention on God's grace and love. There's something for all ages at Abiding Love.
