read moreTaking photos of children can be challenging. The best plan for kids photography is to make the shoot fun! My friends mentioned all the pictures of their little girl had the same staring face, not the cute smile they loved, that disappeared as soon as a camera came out. Challenge accepted! A trip to the local park was all we needed to get the smiles going, then a casual attitude to photographing the kids allowed me to capture that great smile. I'm not sure who had a better time, them or me! The second engagement portrait yesterday was at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
