Physical Therapist in Cary, NC
Aquatic Physical Therapy is the practice of evidence-based physical therapy by a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant in an aquatic environment. The unique properties of water make aquatic physical therapy an effective tool for treating our patients with many different functional limitations. Several of these properties include buoyancy, resistance, and support. In addition, our therapeutic pool is heated to 93 degrees Fahrenheit which has been recommended by The Arthritis Foundation as an optimal temperature to enhance the treatment process by allowing for relaxation.
