read moreWater from rainfalls and from the neighbors' sprinkler systems saturated the client's backyard, making it soggy and muddy. The children and the dogs were not able to play in it. The home is at a lower elevation than the adjacent property, causing groundwater as well as water from the neighbors' sprinklers to flow into the yard and not drain properly. Advantage Drainage installed a French drain around the perimeter of the backyard fence in order to intercept the groundwater. We then installed surface and French drain systems around the swing set to keep that area dry as well.

We offer State Licensed Engineers to design your complete drainage system. Each project has its own particular set of design parameters. An elementary solution that solves one drainage problem might not be applicable to another project. When warranted, our contract consulting civil engineer will analyze the site for volume of runoff and design a discharge system accordingly.
