This summer, August 2023, we remodeled the kitchen in our 100 year home. We had a clear idea of what we wanted, however, working with Lisle from Airy kitchens allowed us to maximize the utility of the space. Lisle was amazing to work with: responsive, enthusiastic, friendly and very knowledgeable. While we managed the execution of the space ourselves, getting the project scope and sequence, design plans and material list was absolutely invaluable. I would absolutely recommend Airy Kitchens!

We hired Airy Kitchens to help design a new kitchen for our home in Mt Airy. We typically do all design ourselves but with a major redo needed we decided to tap professionals to bring an outside perspective. Not having worked with a design firm previously we didn't really know what to expect. From the first meeting the Airy Kitchens team made the process easy, getting to know how we use the current space and what we liked (which was easy - nothing) and didn't like (everything).

They provided several layout options for the space that included some layouts we definitely would not have thought of. Next came the visual design portion and it was fun to walk through the options in their local showroom. We had a good sense of the colors and materials we wanted and they were able to take that and really create the space that we envisioned.

Due to budget we opted not to have Airy Kitchens handle project management and we utilized our own contractors that we had done work with previously. The end result was a beautiful and functional kitchen.

After 7 years in our home, we finally decided to bite the bullet and renovate our kitchen. Knowing we needed to take down a wall and rework the layout, we realized we needed to hire a professional designer. We worked with Sean at Airy Kitchens, and he came up with a beautiful design that we instantly fell in love with. He even created solutions to problems we didn't even know we had.

He worked with us on various rounds of layouts to tweak colors, tiles, appliances, and budget. And we were left with a design that was true to our home and our lifestyle. While we already had a contractor in place, we ordered cabinets through Airy Kitchens. Lisle was so great in working on the estimate and cabinet order. When some of our cabinets came in damaged, Lisle was friendly and helpful at getting them fixed quickly, so that we were kept on our timeline. Overall, Sean and the team were a pleasure to work with, and we now have our dream kitchen. I highly recommend Airy Kitchens.

Airy Kitchens provided us with a full-service kitchen remodel - from design to contractor management - on a big project that included removing some walls and a total redesign. They have a lovely design aesthetic that is both modern but also fits with the classic character of our 100 year old home. They make the remodel process easy for the homeowner - we were not overwhelmed with decisions or details, and ended up with a kitchen that we absolutely love.

I worked with Lisle at Airy Kitchens to design my South Philly row house kitchen renovation and the whole process was amazing! Lisle took time to understand my needs, wants, and to get a sense of who I was as a person and my style. She was able to create a functional and beautiful kitchen design for me. Small personal touches are what really sold me on the design; Lisle included a place for my dogs water and food bowls and tons of cabinet organizers to fit my specific needs! Visiting the Airy Kitchen show room gave me a chance to fall in love with the materials. (Look them up on Instagram and you will see how beautiful their cabinets are!) It was important to me that things be made in the USA and in PA whenever possible. Lisle understood how important this was and was able to find local vendors from in state for many of my materials. Lisle was also able to incorporate my feedback and provide alternatives when I wasn't feeling excited about a material or layout option.

We used Airy Kitchens to remodel our kitchen last year and have been thrilled with the results (especially spending so much time cooking at home this past year with the pandemic!). We had just a galley kitchen before but Sean was able to envision expanding the kitchen into an adjacent room that didn't have a clear purpose. Our 100 year old home ended up having a lot of hidden surprises during demolition so we were really glad we had Martin to manage the project and help us deal with those challenges. Sean, from Airy Kitchens, designed and was project manager for my kitchen project. He was very responsive to what I wanted, and helped me get the Mediterranean/vintage/modern eclectic vibe I was going for. He is smart and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. He gave us some great design ideas - elements I would never have thought of or considered, and did several excellent renderings, yet was always open to my ideas and tastes.

As project manager, he quickly engaged a contractor at a very reasonable cost. The project took 4 weeks, which I think must be record time for finishing a kitchen. If there was a problem or concern, I went to him, and he dealt directly with the contractor, so that any design or quality concerns I had were dealt with by him and saved me the stress of constantly overseeing the contractor.

He was consistently responsive, getting back to me by email the same or next day. Even while I was away on vacation, he was in touch and kept me in the loop, checking in about details that came up. And he was always pleasant and easy to work with. He planned the project with me, face to face, and visited the project many times during the construction project.

As a designer, he helped me make decisions quickly which I would have agonized over had I been working only with a contractor. I highly recommend the services of Airy Kitchens.

The designer at Airy Kitchens had great ideas about how to get the most out of my small space. He came to my home with a beautiful catalogue that helped me decide on materials and cabinets. Within 2 weeks he presented my design with 3D renderings and a detailed budget. I decided to have them manage the installation also and the project went smoothly.
