Akron Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, an extension of your family veterinarian, is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to supply the best emergency and specialized veterinary health care services. For situations in which your pet requires advanced medical care, AVREC supplies the veterinary specialists, emergency room clinicians, diagnostic equipment and state-of-the-art facility to ensure the best quality care for our patients. Pet owners are referred to AVREC by their veterinarians for a specific health reason and/or a 2nd opinion.
