The American Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS) was established in 1976 for the goal of creating a forum - a forum for advancing the knowledge, education, and awareness of veterinary dentistry among veterinarians, students and the public. Through our efforts, we're successfully increasing awareness of the importance of this facet of animal medicine. The AVDS boasts a truly international membership with more than 1100 U. S. Members, over 70 Canadian members and over 50 international members.

Our contributors and subscribers are veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, practice managers, industry leaders, vendors, philanthropists, wildlife biologists, researchers, and pet owners.
