We had been trying to refinance, I went to all the "big name" lenders, many said they could help, when it became complicated they dropped the ball, I was fortunate to meet Jason, he said he could help, I was skeptical, true to his word he made it happen! We came into Scott's office three years ago. At that time we did not qualify for a loan. He was encouraging and positive. He gave us sound advise which we followed and I am grateful for because the next time we walked into his office we were approved. Buying a house can be stressful. Scott was honest, totally on top of it, always available and efficient. When we had questions he answered them. When people weren't doing their job he called them. He always called us right back. My fiancee and I began our search for a new home in the beginning of August 2017. Neither of us had ever purchased a home and we were very new to the experience to say the least. After trying to navigate various informational websites on our own, we made the decision to reach out to Scott at America's Home Loans. After reading his reviews, I called him to schedule an appointment.

We met with him a few days later and left the meeting feeling far more confident about our prospects than we had been. Our local credit union, with whom we have been members for many years, offered a very low loan amount and Scott was able to "crunch the numbers" and offered a substantially larger loan amount. Upon getting established with a realtor and finding the home we really wanted, Scott kept the process relatively painless.

Of course, in buying a home, there are going to be bumps along the way, but our bumps were minimal. Scott worked closely with our realtor and kept us informed along the way. If we ever had questions, he was able to answer them quickly and was very patient with us. We signed the documents for our home on 10/2/17, exactly 2 months after our first meeting with Scott.

I was anticipating months of searching for a home, inspections, and mountains of paperwork. In our case, we found a home quickly, inspections went smoothly, and most of the interim paperwork was able to be signed electronically, with the exception of the final packet of documents. Scott Lawson's help was fundamental in purchasing our house. Scott, is very straightforward from the beginning to the end of the transaction. He's answers were clear, straight forward, and without any false expectations. He was available via email or phone to answer questions, and to resolve issues any time, even weekends. A flawless experience. I never even had to leave my home and I got an interest rate on my home refinance I never dreamed possible. Courteous professional service and all promises kept. Simply put, Scott Lawson is amazing. We gave him a total of 3 weeks to go from loan application to funded and closed home purchase because our original lender "flaked", and Scott made it happen. What I really like is that Scott knows his stuff. He knows what is needed for the loan and will work with you to make it happen. And, Scott is open, honest and let's us know exactly the real situation and facts.

I have never worked with a person before who is so responsive and available to answer my questions. I even called on Sunday evenings and Scott took the time to talk to me. Scott has a great rapport with the lenders and with the escrow/title company as well. I call him Mr Proactive, as he will analyze and anticipate and work with you beforehand. So, our entire process was less than 21 days.

We had pressure from our sellers to accelerate the closing date by an entire week. Guess what? Scott made that happen and then some. In fact we had to wait a day or two for the sellers to catch up. Big banks take their time and introduce all kinds of crazy hoops. I went with Scott instead.

Scott has been our mortgage adviser since 2005. We trust him greatly. He has always been there for us. He has advised us through many stages in our financial life, good and bad. Before we found Scott Lawson, we were working with another broker who did not put any effort into helping us get a loan approval. My boyfriend I had no idea what we were doing because we were first time home buyers and very young. Scott jumped through countless hoops in order for us to get the approval on our loan to get our home and we are very grateful for him.
