The Anchorage Bucs Baseball Club, member of the Alaska Baseball League since 1980, is America's # 1 summer collegiate baseball staff containing players from Universities throughout the world. The Anchorage Bucs and the teams that make up the Alaska Baseball League have seen many future Major league players compete within their stadium gates. The ABL is an N. B. C. Premier Sanctioned League.

read moreThe Bucs were originally founded in 1980 as the Cook Inlet Bucs by former General Manager Dennis Mattingly. The Bucs operated as a barnstorming and exhibition Summer Collegiate Baseball team until the following season when the Bucs formally joined the Alaska Baseball League. In 1984, the Bucs officially changed their name to become the Anchorage Bucs as a 501-c non-profit summer collegiate baseball club. The Anchorage Bucs are dedicated and designed to provide minor league level competition for NCAA players that wish to continue on into professional baseball.
