Apostolic Faith Church

Churches in Atlanta, GA
Churches in Atlanta, GA The Apostolic Faith Church is a worldwide religious organization, with international headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Our roots stem from a 1906 revival on Azusa Street in Los Angeles. In late December of that year, the founder of our work, Florence L. Crawford, came to Portland, and we mark that as the official beginning of our work. Since 1906, our organization has grown and founded branch churches in the US and around the world. We have more than 50 churches in the US.

Apostolic Faith Church
read moreWe are a traditional, Bible-believing church, committed to upholding the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our services are a time to worship God through music, be encouraged by testimonies of God working in lives today, and hear practical, relevant, Bible-based sermons. We hope you can visit us at one of hundreds of locations around the world. In the cover article, "Safe in the Storm, " Rev. Dave Lambert reviews the reasons God might allow storms in our lives and how to get through them. Other topics in this edition include lessons learned from the year 2020, the testimony of one of our pastors from Jamaica whom God transformed from a suicidal fifteen-year-old girl into a strong woman of God, and more.

read moreWe are welcoming a limited number to attend church services in person. In order to allow everyone a chance to attend, please only sign up for two Sunday services per month. If there are still seats available within three days of a service, feel free to sign up for that service even if you've already attended twice in the month. For those able to attend, we request a distancing measure of twelve feet be employed at all times between individuals who are not in contact with each other outside of our services.

Historical Materials
read moreRead original copies or reproductions of the first Apostolic Faith papers that were sent out from Los Angeles, California, documenting the events of the 1906 Azusa Street Revival. By the time the fourteenth edition was published, printing operations had moved to Portland, Oregon, where the publishing work has continued for over one hundred years. In words and images, our history book tells the Apostolic Faith Church's journey from a ramshackle wooden building in Los Angeles, to a ministry spanning six continents.
