Archstone Foundation

A reduction in the risk of falling through increased strength, balance and mobility, financial assets preserved, and dignity and wishes honored at the end of life, are just a several examples of how the Archstone Foundation is touching the lives of California's older adult population. During fiscal years 2008 and 2009, the most of the Foundation's grantmaking investment was through initiative-based efforts - the Fall Prevention Initiative, Elder Abuse & Neglect Initiative, and End-of-Life Initiative. The Foundation's initial commitment was an investment of $24 million over five years for the three initiative areas.
