read morePrimarily, I paint for my own pleasure. There is great personal satisfaction in creating a work of art, and even more satisfaction when someone wants to own your work. I have been painting since I was 5-years old, because it is in my DNA. I come from a long line of artists: my father, my grandmother, and my great grandfather were artists. At great deal of my artwork was created and sold before computers burst onto the scene. But I do consider myself a 21st Century artist. After I create an original painting, I use tools to scan the image into a computer file for further use.
