Opened in 1978 by Andreas and Chirsso Vasdekis, the Athenian Deli and Cafe has been a popular fixture in downtown Oakland for 29 years. Now owned and run by Lilly Hagos, the restaurant has remained true to it's traditional tastes and recipes.
