Atlas prefers the sports medicine approach for the patient. This approach decreases rehabilitation time by introducing exercises for array of motion and strengthening without jeopardizing the healing tissues. The exercises will nourish joint tissues and decrease muscle atrophy allowing faster recovery of normal mobility and function. We encourage the patient to get involved in their care by delivering home exercise programs with stretching and progressive resistive exercises.
