Becky Sauers is a Class A LPGA Professional and is currently the Director of Instruction at Southwood Golf Club in Tallahassee, FL and owner of the Classical School of Golf. She is a former president of the US Southeast section of the LPGA teaching division and past recipient to the LPGA Professional of the year award. She has been recognized as top 50 teachers in the US three times by golf for women magazine and nominated for the top 100 teachers by golf magazine.

The Classical School of Golf was originally created by PGA tour player Bert Yancey at Hilton Head Island in the early 1980's. Bert was originally from Tallahassee, and became one of my dearest friends. He and I partnered up together in 1987 under the Classical School of Golf umbrella in Tallahassee, Fla.
read moreTuesday through Sunday private lessons are scheduled by appointment. All lessons are scheduled through my office by my office assistant. Generally my lessons run for one hour. I offer video analysis with every private lesson. I am equipped with state of the art golf video equipment. During the lesson I do a before and after video on a dual screen so the student can see his or her improvement. Every student has a choice of a sequence color print of their swing or a vhs tape of the entire lesson before they leave.
