Biovisage's early beginnings commenced in 1998 when licensed acupuncturist, Niloufar Gorman, began practicing what soon became the newest and hottest trend for rejuvenation. Niloufar Gorman started testing what she heard of a facelift technique and by using her own creative approach her results showed that the magnitude of acupuncture, a 5, 000 year old healing method, was only yet to be discovered. She realized that a facelift was just a standard result of her signature treatments. As demand frantically grew, Niloufar Gorman set out to build a clinic launched solely for acupuncture facial rejuvenation.
