read moreKyle Kucharski recently won the ASCE Goodman Award for his contributions to the ASCE-MN Chapter. Named for the University of Minnesota's longtime professor Lawrence Goodman, the award recognizes Kyle's academic excellence and his service as an ambassador to the College of Science and Engineering's Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo-Engineering. He also served as President of the UMN ASCE Student Chapter and President and Founder of the first ever AISC Student Club. He graduated in May with High Distinction and we are proud to now have him working with us at BKBM!

We have expertise in evaluation and rehabilitation of facades and concrete, masonry, steel, and timber structural systems. Repair and restoration services vary from project to project and have included sealant replacement, concrete surface repairs, mortar repair, and replacement of post-tensioning or mild steel reinforcing. We have restored several buildings listed on the national and regional historic registers.

read moreThis ten-story post-tensioned concrete structure contains 13,000 square feet of restaurant space on the ground floor, 556 parking stalls on the second through seventh floors, and 65,000 square feet of Class A office space on the top three floors. Provided structural engineering services for Phases I and II of the two-building corporate campus located at the northeast corner of Interstate 394 and County Road 73/Hopkins Crossroad. Each phase included an office building, a parking ramp, and a skyway connecting the building and ramp.
