The idea came from Lonzetta Hill. Do a quilt to celebrate dancers at the Senior Recreation Center-Eunice. That was ten years ago. Now the 100-plus fabric squares that make up the quilt is a cherished artifact about senior life at the center, an honorary tribute reflecting part of the center's history and pride. On Feb. 15, seniors gathered at the recreation center for a Memory Quilt Tea to not only reminisce about the quilt and the people represented in it but to make plans for a new one.
