N Cape Animal Clinic is proud to join more than forty Lee County businesses in serving as a drop-off point for Save the Pets Alliance. Last spring few local animal service agencies realized that an increasing number of families were not able to feed their pets because of the hard economic times. Save the Pets Alliance works with the Harry Chapin Food Bank to gather and distribute canned and dry food and other pet provides to families who otherwise would be forced to relinquish their beloved pets. Over ten tons of pet provides have been donated since May 1, 2009.
