Originally from England, it was in Australia as a Registered Nurse that Dr. Booth hurt his back. Hospital policy demanded that he spend a week in bed while taking analgesics and anti-inflammatory medication. He followed the policy, but his back didn't return to normal. Sometime later a friend recommended he see a chiropractor - something he had never heard of before.
