Dr. Richard Broussard, a 1981 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, began Broussard Veterinary Clinic in August, 1986 on Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was known then as Ambassador Veterinary Clinic. After eight years, Dr. Broussard moved to the present location on Broadmoor Boulevard to enable him to develop a bigger facility where he could expand his services. Dr. Trish Marullo, a 1999 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, has been practicing with Dr. Broussard since April 2005. She has six years of extensive clinical experience.

We are open Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. There is a veterinarian on staff 3 Saturdays a month. On the 4th Saturday, the clinic is open for product sales and boarding pick-up and drop- offs. We have been very closely affiliated with the Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic for over twelve years. Dr. Broussard was on the board of overseers from its beginning.
