While attending Cal State Long Beach (which is located next to the VA Hospital), Barbara became involved in assisting Veteran's to file their tax returns. This was a service she volunteered for that gave her a reward of "giving back" to those who served this country and provided us the freedom we so enjoy. She continued volunteering her services at the Buena Chamber of Commerce, finished her education at Cal State Fullerton and began her practice with the support of many of those clients she volunteered to assist.
