With the 1st decade of the new millennium having drawn to a close, we can all agree that it has been a real roller coaster for business. The recessions of 2001-2003 and 2009 for Texas brought challenges to all businesses, including the staffing and placement industry. Our challenges continue with the State Unemployment Tax rate more than doubling for all Texas firms in 2010. Since the staffing industry had so many staffing employees laid off in 2009, our industry was hit particularly hard.
