If it's February and all my senses are overloaded, and my pocketbook feels strangely light, then I must be in Tucson, Arizona. The largest gem, mineral and jewelry show in the world is just as overwhelming as one can imagine. Nature's eye candy is everywhere on the street and in over 4 dozen seperate show venues. And yet carry on we must, as we seek out special finds for our valued Burnie's clients. Nevin has found some superb cutting rough here as well as in Quartzsite, where the storm on January 21 had destroyed many peoples booths and merchandise, including that of a few old friends and suppliers.
