Layne is a native Iowan, born and raised on a 2nd generation family farm near Hampton. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University. Layne entered the insurance services industry in 1996 and has gained his Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. He specializes in lifestyle protection and financial requirements analysis. In his spare time, Layne enjoys golfing and hunting. Cher is a native Iowan from Clarion. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Iowa State University.
