Mike is professional, reliable, thorough and ready to help whenever there's a problem, he is a great when comes to listen what we need in our home. He solved our flies problem and we haven't seen any in our house since we started treatments. Carnegie exterminator are also very accommodating when setting up appointments. Very impressed with their work.

Not only did a real person answer the phone, they were at my house within 30 minutes to inspect what turned out to be a termite problem. They did not have the materials to address the problem immediately, but returned the next day right on time. John and Mike were friendly and fully explained what needed to be done. They performed the job as as promised for what I thought was a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this local company to anyone who asks.

Late review but i just need to say thanks! I called very distraught and concerned and he initially offered to come the next day but i think he could tell i was very stressed so he came a few hours later. It was very quick, simple, and thoroughly explained. Still don't know where those roaches came from but they've been gone for weeks and some thorough cleaning came out of the experience. Had a nest of yellow jackets in a very awkward place. I called and John was here within 3 hours! He was pleasant, personable and very helpful. I would not hesitate to call Carnegie Exterminators again! I always feel so blessed when I find a business owner who truly cares about what they are doing, and that is John. He offered a warranty and everything! Call them!

Called yesterday and left a message, not only a return phone call but they came out to assist with my mouse problem. Very knowledgeable was able and more then willing to answer all my questions. Also provide me with some tips and tricks on how to prevent other potential pest problems. I would highly recommend using them! Truly 5 Star service. I plan on using them again if any other issues come up

We discovered a large hornet's nest in our yard on a Sunday. He arrived quickly and took care of the nest at a reasonable cost.

I have used "John" from Carnegie Exterminators more than once. I have no Idea why everyone is complaining about him being rude. I found him to be a really stand up guy. Even talked with me about some of the old equipment his family has used for years. Just really nice. And the price they ask is less than 1/4 the price of any of the big name companies for the same service and the 1 year warranty. Terminex quoted me $1800 to spray a stupid old rotting tree stump 20 feet from my house. John charged me a low few hundred and also strayed the perimeter of the house just for good measure.

So I say, save 3/4 of your money and call Carnegie Exterminators if you need to get rid of some pests. And if by some chance they seem "rude" keep in mind everyone is entitled to a rough day. But you are also saving a lot by hiring these guys. I will only work with these guys from now on. Though I hope I never have to again, for obvious reasons. :

Jon's company did are home inspection without issue. And we have had them come out to take care of a bee problem we had in the summer. In both occasions we were more than satisfied with his work and professionalism. He has since got rid of ants at my mothers home and did a bee issue at my aunts home. I would recommend him to anyone.

Great family owned company. John is honest and great to work with. He is honest and goes out of his way to make an appointment available.

Called to have them come out and inspect for termites or any pests in our wood frame garage. They found none, which was nice to hear, however the best part was no charge! It was refreshing to deal with a pest control company that wasn't trying to high pressure sell a service package. We definately call them for all our future needs.

These guys were great and very reasonably priced. They were professional, came to my home and were respectful of my time and space. They were quick and efficient too. I will be using for all of my extermination needs.

Called and described the problem to Jon, the owner. He provided the names of the chemicals they would use, so I was able to look them up on the internet. Internet research agreed with what he described in terms of product effectiveness and safety to pets, etc. He and his crew came out w/in two days. He investigated the upstairs interior where we saw the ants, and in the basement climbed our ladder to remove suspended ceiling panels to view the area.

He did a thorough look around the basement, even pointing out areas that we hadn't noticed. He sprayed the interior and the crew sprayed the exterior (using a compressor, not hand-held equipment.) He offers tiered pricing, based on the amount of time you'd like the work to be warranted. This is nice, as you can decide what is appropriate for yourself. We selected the 90-day warranty, which was the lowest price tier.

John Vogel talked to me when I phoned and clearly explained the procedure involved to correct the problem. He and a technician arrived as scheduled; power washed the siding and sprayed a chemical to destroy larvae. They guarantee their work. I was pleased with their prompt action and I have had no problems since.

Over a weekend my house was invaded by carpenter ants. dozens at a time were marching in from the breakfast nook, through the kitchen, to my front door. It was horrible. I consulted Angie's List and chose him because he was local, not connected with a big company. I called on a Sunday. He returned my call early Monday morning and said that even though his schedule was full, he would work me in at the end of the day because it appeared to be an emergency.

He came very late that afternoon and treated the property. He did not try to push an extended contract on me -- although I'll probably call him again for some maintenance. He said it would take up to two weeks for the ants to completely disappear, but they were gone within two days.

I liked that it was not a large chain and they didn't charge much for the work. They told me the chemical they sprayed would only last for 6 months, so I will definitely call them back after that.

Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with a job well done, as well as a quick response to a problem, carpenter ants.
