Unlike a doctor's office or hospital, Carolina Discount Labs is not contracted with any health insurance. We price our lab fees at fair market value. Ordinarily at most health facilities blood tests are significantly marked up. However, as long as a patient has health insurance their lab fees are typically paid at much lower, pre-negotiated rates with little expense passed onto the patient. If you have no health insurance you'll be charged these inflated fees for blood tests, unless your supplier or lab firm provides you a substantial discount.
