Carolinas Specialty Hospital

Carolinas Specialty Hospital (CSH) is a 40-bed long term acute care (LTAC) hospital with specialized programs in pulmonary disease, wound care management, and care for medically complex patients. It operates within 305-bed Mercy Hospital situated in the middle of Charlotte's pretty and historic Elizabeth district. CSH opened in January 2003, and is the 1st and only LTAC hospital-within-a-hospital in the region.
