Dr. Griffith gained her bachelor's degree in biology with High Distinction from the University of Virginia in 1997. She graduated at the head of her class from North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. As a veterinary student, Dr. Griffith was presented with the NCVMA Academic Achievement Award and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and the Society of Phi Zeta, the veterinary national honor society. She practiced as an associate veterinarian in Cary and Chapel Hill before realizing her dream of founding Carpenter Animal Hospital.

What to Expect
read moreWhen you check in with our front desk you'll be greeted by one of our friendly and courteous team members. A member of our medical staff will soon meet you in the lobby and bring you to an examination room where we'll ask a few questions and measure your pet's vital signs - just like when you go for a visit to your doctor! One of our veterinarians will then examine your pet, address any concerns you may have, recommend diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet's individual care plan. This is a great time to ask questions.
