After completing her undergraduate studies in Violin Performance at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY, Mary moved to Raleigh in 1986 and started performing and teaching in the area. She has played at the North Carolina Museum of Art for their series Rembrandt to Rubens, and has freelanced for the North Carolina Symphony, the NC Theater and many other professional groups in the area. In addition, she was a founding member, performer and composer with the Celtic music group Bragh Adair.
