read moreJanuary is Poverty Awareness Month! Through more than 110 years of service, our agency has learned a lot about the complex and evolving nature of poverty. We know there is not a one-size-fits-all solution, so we turn on-the-ground insights and ongoing research and evaluation into effective, sustainable solutions for our community. Honoring the dignity of each person, we help eradicate barriers that prevent individuals and families from living in full dignity and freedom. This month in particular, we want to share what we have learned in order to build a stronger community.

Stories of Impact
read moreStories of Impact abound at CCFW. A young mother needing help with school. A veteran struggling with the effects of war. A husband and father looking for employment. We serve tens of thousands in our 28 county diocese each year and their stories serve as our greatest source of inspiration. Our Research and Evaluation Team utilizes an in-depth problem-solving process to ensure we #knowpoverty from the perspective of a client group before we launch a program. This process is predicated on human-centered design, building our solutions from an empathetic understanding of the client and the challenges they face.
