A huge portion of our funding is considered Cost Sharing. The cost sharing contributions made to CAR have been made to projects in software applications support two projects. Corporations have offered in-kind contributions donating their software, hardware applications, labor and travel to the Connected Vehicle Proving Center (CVPC) and the Digital Body Development System (DBDS) project. The CVPC, funded by the State of Michigan, has received contributions from organizations associated with the connected vehicle industry.
