Students have the opportunity to study from teachers who had professional dance careers, and who have a teaching philosophy that dictates upbeat, constructive instruction focusing on the pleasure of participation, and the discipline inherent in dance.

read moreWe are the "no-recital" school, but that doesn't mean we don't believe that performance experiences are not important to training! We offer 2 ways to dance on the big stage: 1) The Pointe Academy Dance Ensemble 2) All School "Showcase" at the end of the year in odd numbered years. Dancers in levels 5 and 6 may be invited to be in The Pointe Academy Dance Ensemble performing group. Involvement in the Ensemble is not required to continue training, but is encouraged for those who have demonstrated a willingness to make the commitment of time and effort.

FAMILIES with three (3) or more students attending classes at The Pointe qualify for a 15% discount on tuition and their memberships fees are capped at 50.00. Class placement is not based on age, but ability, so a free placement class is required for new students. Quarterly Tuition: THE POINTE ACADEMY operates on a quarterly (10 weeks) payment system.
