Christ Church Episcopal

At Christ Church, the liturgy that we participate in each Sunday morning is the central activity of our life together as a parish community. Although some elements of the service vary somewhat depending on the church season, the service described here is typical of our 10:30 a.m. Service and is very much like what you'll find at Episcopal churches everywhere. This service is recognised as Holy Communion, because in it we commune with God and with each other as the Body of Christ. It is known as Holy Eucharist, which is the Greek word meaning Thanksgiving. In the Eucharist, we give thanks for what God has done for us in Jesus Christ.
