Christ The Lord Lutheran Church

It all started back on February eighth, 1976. That is when 24 people attended an exploratory meeting at the home of Ray and Betty Schmiech. One week later a worship service was held at the Krager Bayshore Funeral home in Dunedin. The presiding ministers were Pastor R. Wiechmann of Bay Pines Lutheran Church in Seminole and Pastor J. Meyer of Peace Lutheran in Holiday. From there things moved swiftly. The congregation was formally organized on June 29th, 1976. A constitution was adopted. The name Christ The Lord was chosen - a fine choice indeed!
