read moreDuring my career as a clinical social worker, I developed a passion for learning and educating others about the benefits of alternative treatment methods for trauma, depression, anxiety, and pain. These were different from traditional western medicine and psychotherapy practices. My appreciation of the relationship between trauma and stress to our physical and emotional bodies allows me to help patients at Clinix to develop new coping skills and direct them to useful community resources. While in undergraduate school in Topeka, Kansas, I was involved in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.

This is accomplished by working as a Team with your Medical provider and our Behavioral Health Consultant. The Behavioral Health Consultant can work with you by offering behavioral health interventions and teaching you new coping skills to address anxiety, depression, insomnia, improve eating habits, weight loss, grief, life transitions such as retirement, career change, move, divorce, empty nest syndrome, to name a few.
