At Clip N Dip Grooming and Boarding we recommend that you start them as early as possible so that your pet will grow accustomed to the various processes involved in grooming. We will teach your pet to stand on a table without being afraid. We will also help them get used to brushing, bathing, nail trimming, and the dreaded clippers. More than anything thing else we are developing a trusting relationship with your pet. As a new pet owner you can also help out by caressing your dogs ears and rubbing his legs and feet so that he won't be alarmed when we work on those areas.

read moreAt Clip & Dip we groom most all breeds of dogs. If you have an extremely large dog, such as a Newfoundland or a St. Bernard, give us a call and we can discuss whether we can handle it or not. Sorry, we don't groom cats. We do not tranquilize any of the dogs that we groom. We understand how to handle and calm a nervous pet and treat them all with tender loving care. In the event that a dog is too aggressive or nervous for us to work on, we may ask that you get a mild sedative from your Rochester vet.

We strive to make the boarding experience as stress free as possible for you and your pet. We offer a Social Hour Program for customers who would like their dog to interact with other pets. Dogs really enjoy this time to play with other dogs, chase balls, and burn off some steam. Our boarding pick up and drop off times are Sunday-Friday from 8-9 a.m. or 4-6 p.m with no Drop off or pick up on Saturdays or holidays.
