Releasing balloons helps us say goodbye in a unique way, allowing us to experience greater closure and healing as we "release" our emotions and grief. To make it more personal, write messages of hope and love on the balloons before releasing them. Honoring a veteran or a fallen member of the armed forces with military rites is a time-honored tradition. We can coordinate with the local honor guard and Veterans Affairs office to feature a draped flag over your loved one's casket or urn, the folding and presentation of the flag to the next of kin, the firing of a salute, or any other appropriate tribute to an eligible veteran or active duty service member.

read moreThe basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran. The type of Funeral Honors may be Full Military Honors, 7 Person Detail or a Standard Honors Team Detail. At least one of the funeral honors detail will be from the Armed Force in which the deceased veteran served.
