Community Center in Cambridge, MA
Community Center in Cambridge, MA Established in 1932 by a group of local parents, the Community Art Center's goal is to nurture kids and young adults with limited access to financial resources so they achieve individual and cultural growth, and have a positive impact on their world through thankful experiences in the arts. Through our 75 years in operation we currently have propelled close to 8000 Cambridge youth to evolve themselves artistically, academically, and socially. We reach this by delivering a combined total of approximately 3000 program hours per year through two central programs and one huge annual event.

The Art Center has established an excellent track record of providing creative and challenging learning opportunities to youth. TODAY we continue to uphold our mission, growing our reach and deepening our impact through the Port Stories Public Art Project and Family Engagement Initiative. In the FUTURE, with your donation, we will impact more youth through innovative programs in a family-like environment where youth can reach their full potential. Art is important to me because it's a part of me. It speaks to me and it makes me want to create something bigger.
