Community Preschool was established as a parent cooperative in 1946, making us the oldest preschool still in existence in Topeka. The parents participate in their child's classroom one day per month and get to be an active part of their child's learning. Our teachers hold degrees in eary childhood education or elementary education. Admissions policies are non-discriminatory in accordance with the Kansas Civil Rights Statue K. S. A. 44-10009.

read moreIf you are enrolling any siblings the fee will be $30 for each additional sibling. This is a non-refundable fee which secures your child's placement. We also collect a $10 party fee per child when you enroll. These classes are for children who are between 2 years, 6 months of age and 3 years, 5 months of age as of Sept. 1st. These classes are for children who are at least 3 years, 6 mos. of age as of Sept. 1st and do not plan to attend kindergarten the following fall. These classes are for children who are at least 4 years of age as of Sept.1st and who plan to enter kindergarten the following fall.
