The Community Youth Center (CYC) is a state-of-the-art sports and academic center where youth ages 3 to 18 thrive in a dynamic and positive environment. The caring CYC team and volunteers work hard every day to support young student athletes. The CYC is proud to manage 10 sports programs and an academic excellence center. The CYC is staffed with outstanding coaches who specialize in providing quality instruction and genuinely care about children. CYC is proud to emphasize that it provides recreation-based classes.

In 1995, what was originally a small boxing club called The Little C underwent a dramatic change in vision. There was a need beyond what The Little C provided. So, in typical Ken Hofmann fashion, he took the necessary actions to create positive change for the community. He focused on the financially disadvantaged, where the reality was that many impoverished areas had a larger amount of drug use, gang violence, and crime.
