Computer Training in Chicago, IL Computer Training Source offers computer classes and private tutoring in the Chicago area (Downtown, Schaumburg, and Naperville/Warrenville) and in the New York City area (Midtown Manhattan NYC) Our training classes run from 9am to 4pm. Classes consist of an average of six to ten students, each at their own computer. All our classes are instructor-led and interactive. Each student receives a manual and access to practice files. In addition, students may retake a class once for free within six months. Students receive 30 days of free technical support with the purchase of a class.

Premiere Training

This class focuses on getting students familiar with a complete and logical workflow for creating a video production, thus providing a background of how projects go from start to finish. Topics include color correction, applying transitions effectively, controlling clip speed and key framing.
InDesign Training
read moreInDesign is a powerful page layout publishing application. In our InDesign Part 1 class we cover adding/removing document pages and master pages, adding columns and guides, formatting text, placing text from a word-processor, adding photos and graphics, creating a newsletter, and preparing your document for output to an offset printer all while learning multiple shortcuts and techniques to speed up your work. In our InDesign Part 2 class we cover working with text styles, working in the story editor, handling page elements and graphics, anchoring graphics in text, working with libraries, working with object styles, creating colors, developing Bezier paths, working with layers, working with tables, creating a photo mask, managing long documents, and importing and exporting files.
Excel Training

You will work on Excel assignments at your own pace, with the instructor available to help assist with questions. Assignments may include sheet formatting, basic formulas, charts and graphs, pivot tables, using VLOOKUP and IF functions.
Word Training

They will format tables, print labels and envelopes, and work with SmartArt graphics and drawing tools. They will also use document templates, manage document revisions, and work with Web features. Learn to perform mail merges. Create forms and master documents that include a table of contents; table of figures; footnotes; endnotes; and more. Create macros, customize the ribbon and Quick Access toolbar.
Access Training
