Creative Environments, once Hammond Landscaping, originated in 1950 with only Chuck Hammond, Sr. And his wife Shirley. Chuck Hammond, Sr. Went door to door selling the outdoor dream and then designing the landscapes he sold out of the back of his pickup truck. In the 1960's, Mr. Del Webb was so very impressed by Hammond's drive, ambition, and the firm's quality landscapes, Hammond's staff started working directly under Del Webb. It was during the 1970's that Hammond Landscaping decided to expand into flagstone operations by purchasing the lease rights to the mines from the government.
